Something is so wrong with anyone expecting Moe's to have "authentic" foods. It's a FAST FOOD joint. I've eaten at many different locations, & they're all pretty consistent. My son is the pickiest eater, & he'll eat a power wagon. That's reason enough for me to love Moe's. But it's not the only one. Their food is quick, inexpensive, relatively healthy, & good. Is it amazeballs? No. But you wouldn't expect that from a fast food joint, now would you?

Man...I want to love Moe's, I really do. However, my last visit was a crummy one. I got the earmuffs (burrito bowl) and it just fell short. The rice was dry, the chicken was dry, and it just didn't wow me at all. The one thing I really do like about Moe's is the fact that they give you chips with every meal. The salsa bar concept is great as well. It's really refreshing to have some variety. The queso is awesome and I get it every time. If they could up their consistency game and get it right every time, I would love this place. For now, the Chipotle fanboy in me lives on.

The staff is the most customer service oriented people in the fast food business... The quality of the beef and beans and everything is suspect to say the least.. Beef is really bad.and I had the Carne....not good.......did not try the ground beef...Who would? Horrible....And I know Burritos...Just not worth going there for any price...

My husband and I are connoisseurs of Moe's; we seem to eat at one wherever we go! We love Moe's because of the consistent quality of the food and service and the cleanliness and convenience of the restaurants. This Moe's did not disappoint. My Joey Jr was delicious, as always, and the queso is always a treat. We ate here after leaving Patriots Point and it was convenient on our way back into Charleston.

Been here quite a few times, mainly because it's super close to my work and I get tired of the same things. I like this place but it is always hit or miss. Some days it's delicious. Other days, I've found rubbery steak and gristle. Cold burrito. And sometimes it's bland. So this place is simply for a quick and large portion of food that is sometimes tasty. Roll the dice my friends.

Ok, I went through my college years in love with Moe's. I used to always get the moo moo mr. cow with sour cream and guac... the portion on it was perfect for me. I moved to California for 5 years where Moe's does not exist. (at least not that I could find). I had it once again 10/12 in Arkansas, and it was again amazing, albeit a little salty. So, after moving to Mount Pleasant, I was super excited that Moe's is just up the street from me. Visit one: The moo moo mr. cow is more of a taco. Ok, the price is cheap, and I learned they now have a homewrecker jr. Ok, so I'll know for next time. Well, I got home, it was still enough food for me with a small side of queso. Where was the cookie? NOT in the bag or anywhere else. Ok, not terrible since I don't really eat cookies anyways... but still flawed service. Visit 2: The homewrecker burrito... BLAND! Where is the seasoning? The rice had no flavor other than... bland rice. The chicken had limited flavor. There wasn't enough salsa in the world to mask it. It was just unsatisfying. I'm not sure if it's just this location or all Moe's these days, but I am sooo NOT a fan!

As many people as I heard say great things about this place, I've got to have bad luck. I've been here 3 times now and each time, the food seems bland and rather flavorless. Nothing has ever stood out, but it's close to work and still beats Taco Bell. The staff is amazing and super friendly, they're half the reason I continue to go back. If you're looking for some OK food served by a very friendly and polite staff, you'll be happy. Just don't go expecting something great.

Super busy location, but had a lot of seating. Food was good. Place was clean.

I love it when I get back with my takeout - especially one that costs as much a proper restaurant. Start a movie, relax after a hard week And the the tortilla chips are missing and the Fajita has no main Tortilla Basically it s mess of beans and cheese to fork out of a plastic container. Thanks a bunch. ******s

Homewrecker burrito is very good. We always get plenty of chips for take out so that other review is unfortunate. Their salsa is decent but could use some fresher ingredients. They do now have a few different kinds of salsa. For a quick bite, Moe's is a good stop. We've had them cater 2 events. It was too much for our smaller crowd but very worthwhile for a large group. Fajitas aren't bad either but 3 tortillas usually isn't enough for all the ingredients they provide.

Burrito was pretty good. One downside was they didn't give enough cheese for the amount of chips they gave me.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
